Hope everyone’s having a lovely holiday season. Here is my last video of the year, featuring everything from recent (ish) classics to films from years long gone. All though have in common, in my humble opinion, the rather enigmatic power of the movies. Whether they educate us, inspire us, or sometimes just amuse us, the best of cinema can leave a most profound effect on the rather unsuspecting viewer.
Enjoy the montage!

Hello.
Nice post, I like your blog.

Thank you very much for your comment :)
I’ve actually been reading your reviews for some time now and I think they’re pretty fantastic! I will, of course, keep stopping by. Thanks for the continued great writing.
Ah wow some amazing films! It’s a Wonderful life is my personal favourite. There are so many that could be on that list and I think it Ben Hur, Spartacus, The Big Country, The Greatest Show on Earth, From Here to Eternity, Trapeze and look who’s coming to Dinner should be on the list, but there are so many we could go on and on.
Some very great films you have mentioned there :)
This was, of course, not an exhaustive list of the many, many inspirational movies produced over the years, but just a little glimpse into the uplifting power of cinema. Perhaps I’ll do a sequel to this montage in the future :) Thanks for your comment!
